Overview
Tacit supports integration with Uber Direct, DoorDash Drive, OnFleet and SkipGo as Whitelabel delivery partners. This article details prerequisites for configuring Delivery Integrations, as well as instructions for setting up Whitelabel Delivery through Uber Direct and DoorDash Drive.
Requirements
Delivery Menu
Set up a delivery menu for the location. If you are utilizing enterprise menus, make sure you have a delivery menu shared with the location.
Visit How do I create a menu? for instructions on setting up regular menus.
Visit How do I set up enterprise menus? for instructions on setting up enterprise menus.
To check what platform a menu will be shared with, go to the Menus section of backoffice and select your Brand and Location. Under Menus & Categories, make sure one of the menus has the delivery type checked off when you click the pencil icon to edit it. This menu (and its associated menu hours) will be the menu that applied to Delivery integrations.
Note: If the location is already live, you can set temporary delivery menu hours to ensure that menu is closed while you are setting up delivery.
Delivery Areas
Under Brands & Locations, search and find your location in the list of locations. Click Edit Delivery Areas. Refer to How do I set up delivery areas? for detailed instructions on all methods for configuring delivery areas at a location.
Delivery Order Type
- Under Brands & Locations, search and find your location in the list of locations.
- Click Edit Location, then go to the Preferences tab.
- Select Delivery from the list of order types.
- The Delivery order type cannot be selected if Delivery Areas have not been set up. Please set up delivery areas before attempting to activate delivery.
- Save Draft or Publish location (only Publish if the location is already live).
Setting Up Courier Settings
Once the above requirements are completed, you can map the location to the existing Uber Direct or DoorDash Drive account by configuring Courier settings.
- Before Delivery goes live, ensure the correct price level is set up for the delivery menu under Edit Location >> Preferences
- Check the delivery menu availability for your location in the Operations section.
Courier Settings can be edited by following these steps:
- Go to Brands & Locations.
- Search and find your location in the list of locations

- Select Uber Direct from the select courier dropdown
- Enter all the fields in the courier setup form.

- Add pickup notes, if needed.
- Pickup notes are sent to the courier and can be used for pickup instructions (e.g. Please come directly to the back counter to collect delivery orders).
- Add Courier Drive Time in Minutes
- The courier drive time is the estimated time (in minutes) it should take for the courier to drive from your store to the customer address. This can be calculated according to your delivery range, and is used by Delivery platforms to provide an estimated delivery time for customers.
- Select a Courier Indeliverable action.
- This specifies which action you would like a courier to take if an order is cancelled.
- Click the TEST button to test if the credentials are valid. It show 'Test Successful' if the credentials are working.
- If the credentials are not working, verify the settings and IDs, and if they are still not working, contact the Uber Direct team for assistance.
- If successful, click SAVE.
Once your test is successful, you can start taking delivery orders. Check your mobile app or website to ensure the delivery menu is displaying properly. Check the order monitor to check that delivery orders are coming through successfully.

- Enter all the fields in the courier setup form.
