Setting up Uber Direct
1. Set up a delivery menu for your location
Set up a delivery menu for the location. If you are utilizing enterprise menus, make sure you have a delivery menu shared with the location.
If the location is already live, you can set the delivery menu hours to be closed while you are setting up delivery.

2. Add the delivery order type to your location
- Go to Brands & Locations
- Search and find your location in the list of locations
- Go to the Preferences tab
- Select Delivery from order types
- Save Draft or Publish location (only Publish if location is currently live)
3. Add delivery areas
- Go to Brands & Locations
- Search and find your location in the list of locations
- Click Edit Delivery Areas

4. Set up courier settings
- Go to Brands & Locations
- Search and find your location in the list of locations
- Click Edit Delivery Areas
- Go to Courier Settings
- Click Add New
- Select Uber Direct from the select courier dropdown
- Enter all the fields in the courier setup form (all fields are required)
You should get the Customer ID, Client ID, Client Secret and Webhook signing key from Uber. - Add pickup notes, if needed.
Pickup notes are sent to the courier and can be used for pickup instructions. - Add Courier Drive Time in Minutes
The courier drive time is the estimated time (in minutes) it should take for the courier to drive from your store to the customer address. - Add Courier undeliverable actions
- Click TEST button to test if the credentials are valid
- If successful, click SAVE
Once your test is successful, you can start taking delivery orders. Check your mobile app or website to ensure the delivery menu is properly displayed. Check the order monitor to check that delivery orders are coming through successfully.
Notes
- Check the price level set up for delivery under Edit Location > Preferences
- Check the delivery menu availability for your location in the Operations tab
