How do I create a menu item?

Prerequisites 

To create a menu item, you must first create a menu and a category.

Creating a menu Item

1. Go to Menus

2. Select Brand and Select Location from dropdown

3. Go the Items tab

4. Locate and expand the menu where you would like to add an item

5. Click on the category where you like to add an item

6. Click New Item button

 

7. Enter the name of the item

8. Enter the item description

9. Click Add Price

POS Disconnected Locations

a. Enter the price of the item

b. Enter label of the price (ex. Small, Medium, Large if this item has multiple sizes)

c. Enter the kitchen name, this will print on kitchen chits

d. Add modifiers linked to this item price if applicable

 

POS Connected Locations

a. Enter the POS ID of the item you’d like to map Locate the item in search results

b. Select the item(s) you’d like map using check box on left size

c. Change price label if applicable

d. Add calories if applicable

e. Add kitchen name if applicable, this will print on kitchen chits

f. Add modifiers groups linked to this price, if applicable

10. Once you’ve added all the required information click Publish to save and publish the item

11. Save as Draft if the item is not live yet
