Overview
Rotational menus support managed food service companies and university campuses that operate on rotational menu cycles. These operators typically have a set of menus rotating on a schedule. Menu rotations may be a combination of weekly and daily offerings that cycle on a regular basis.
For example, a location may be on a 3-week cycle, meaning they offer a set of menus for week one, a second set of menus for week two, and a third set of menus for week three. On week four, the menus from week one would come back and the rotation would begin again.
Operators can:
- Define the rotation cycle by location with a start date and number of weeks in the rotation.
- Create and flag menus as rotational menus.
- Set up menu items on the rotational schedule.

User Experience
- All menu items in rotational menus will only be available to order on the days they are scheduled within the rotation.
- Rotational menus are subject to menu availability hours and days just as regular menus, therefore rotational items cannot be scheduled for days the menu is closed.
- If an app or website supports advanced orders, customers will be able to see the item selection that will be available in the rotational menu for the day they are receiving their order.
