Overview
Meal offers allow operators to set up groups of menu items that customers can order at as a special offer or at a special price. Meal offers are especially useful for things like catering bundles, combo meals, and family-style meal combos.
Backoffice Setup
Offer exclusives
- Menu items that have the Offer Exclusive toggle enabled will only be visible to customers when set up as part of an offer.
- Once an offer-exclusive menu item is saved, it will appear in the menu section with an "Offer Exclusive" label.
Set up the menu item as an offer
1. Go to the Menus section of backoffice
2. Select a Brand and Location.
3. Go to the Items tab.
4. Go to the category where you'd like to add your meal offer.
5. Click New Item.
6. Add the Name and Description for your meal offers.
7. Set the Offer Exclusive toggle as YES.
8. Adding a price is not required for meal offers.
Set up offer
Click Add Group
You will be brought to a separate page to start setting up the first group in your meal offer.
- Set the minimum quantity for the group.
- This is the minimum number of items a user has to select in this group. For now, the minimum will always be equal to the maximum.
Add the Group Name
- Click Add Items.
- When you click Add Items, a pop-up will open.
- Select a Menu and Category.
- All items in the selected category will appear in the section below.
Select the items/price levels of items you would like to add to this group.
- Click Save to add the items to the offer group
- Once you have added all the items to the group, click SAVE in the upper right-hand corner.
- If you have more than 1 group in the offer, click Add group and go through the same process again.
Add a Digital Asset
Add the menu offer photo.
The menu offer image should be the same dimensions as all your menu items.
- Save and Publish your changes.
