Overview
You can message customers from the order monitor by setting up pre-set order monitor messages in communications.
- User messages can be set up in the backoffice under Communications > User messages.
- Messages can be sent via e-mail by default or SMS if you have integrated a Twilio account.
- Note: You cannot configure customer messages for UberEats or DoorDash orders through backoffice.
Messaging customers
Go to the Order Monitor tab
Select Brand and Location from the dropdown menus
Orders for the current date will load
Navigate to the customer order
Click the MESSAGE button
If you have the SMS option setup, use the toggle to switch between sending as SMS or E-mail
Select one of the preset messages
Click Send Message button to send message to customer
