How do I set up bottle deposits?

Intro to bottle deposits

• Bottle deposits can be programmed as a property of the menu item price only for disconnected locations only, not the POS connected locations.
• For POS connected locations, you need to set the bottle deposits up as a modifier group and modifier.

 

 

POS Disconnected locations

• The bottle deposit can be added by going to the item setup and editing the price.

• You will be able to the add the deposit amount that you would want to charge that customer.

• Once you re-publish the item, you will need to refresh the cache to see the changes on the website.

1. Edit item

2. Click Add Price button 

3. Add value in Deposit field

 

 

 

 

POS Connected Locations

• The POS connected locations need to have a separate modifier group created implement the bottle deposit.

• The bottle deposit modifier should have the minimum quantity 1 and the maximum quantity 1 as well.
  
  

Once it is published, you need to refresh the cache to implement the changes.
