Overview
The Greetings feature enables marketers to personalize the experience for different user types. Greetings will appear on the homepage of the app.
You can set up greetings for guest users, new users, and/or experienced users.
A guest user is a user that is not logged in/signed up.
A new user is someone who doesn’t have any order history yet.
An experienced user is someone who placed at least one order.
Greetings, support text and tag lines
The greeting support text will display beneath the greeting. A tagline is a brief message that will appear on the order confirmation in the mobile app
Backoffice Setup
Go to the Communications section of backoffice, then go to the Greetings tab.

Select a Client App.
The Greetings window will allow you to manage the greetings that appear for all user types in one place.
Navigate to the user type you would like to edit.

Input the Greeting's main text into the En. field. If including a French version of the greeting, put the translated version in the Fr. field.
Greetings will appear on the homepage of the mobile app, and the French or English version will display based on what language the user has selected.
- Use the available variables to customize your message.
- For example, First name will display the first name of the user.

Input the greeting support text.
The support text will display below the greeting. This could be your brand tagline or any other desired message.
Both the greeting and the support text have a maximum of 70 characters.
- Input tagline.
- At the bottom of the greetings window, add your tagline. Taglines will appear on the order confirmation in the app.
- Make sure to save your changes to apply them.
