How do I set up delivery networks?

Summary

• The delivery networks tab is used to set up locations for delivery network integrations. Currently we support integrations with UberEats, DoorDash and Skip the Dishes.

• The delivery networks tab also allows users to Publish Menus, publish locations and draft locations.

• Additional coordination with each delivery network is required to go live with locations.

Set Up Delivery Networks

1. Ensure the location is set up in Brands and Locations

2. Go to the Operations Tab

3. Select a Brand

4. Select a Location

5. Click on SET UP DELIVERY NETWORK

6. Select a language for the location

7. Enter the tax rate for the location

8. Select your delivery networks using the checkboxes

   1. For UberEats, enter the UberEats ID (usually an alphanumeric string)

   2. For DoorDash, the Tacit store ID will automatically appear. If desired, turn on Auto-accept

   3. For SkipTheDishes, the External ID will automatically appear. If desired, turn on Auto-accept

9. Click SAVE CHANGES

Once you have set up the delivery network(s), you can move forward with arranging the staging and launch with your project manager.

Please note: Additional coordination between each client, Tacit and Delivery network is still required to bring the locations live. This feature only allows users to complete the back-office setup.

Publish all delivery network menus

1. Go to the Operations tab

2. Select a Brand

3. Click on the DELIVERY NETWORKS tab

4. Publish Menus

   1. To publish all delivery network menus, click PUBLISH ALL MENUS button

 

Publish delivery network location

1. Ensure the location is set up properly in Brand and Locations

2. Ensure the delivery network has staged the location for integration

3. Go to Operations tab

4. Select brand from dropdown

5. Select location from dropdown

6. Locate the respective delivery network(s)

7. Click on the … button

8. Click Publish Location

9. Wait for loader

10. Check delivery network app to confirm changes

1. Go to the Operations tab

2. Select brand from dropdown

3. Select location from dropdown

4. Locate the respective delivery network(s)

5. Click on the Publish Menu

6. Wait for loader

7. Check delivery network app to confirm changes

 

Draft delivery network location

1. Go to Operations tab

2. Select brand from dropdown

3. Select location from dropdown

4. Locate the respective delivery network(s)

5. Click on the … button

6. Click Draft Location

7. Wait for loader

8. Check delivery network app to confirm changes
   

Please note: For Skip The Dishes, drafting the location will not stop customer from placing orders. It will simply fail to inject orders into the POS. If you would like to stop customer from placing orders, use the Skip tablet to Go Offline.
