Overview
The delivery networks tab is used to set up locations for delivery network integrations. Currently we support integrations with UberEats, DoorDash and Skip the Dishes.
This article includes instructions for setting up delivery networks, publishing delivery network menus and locations, and drafting delivery network locations. Please note that additional coordination and setup with each delivery network is required for locations to go live on those platforms. For additional help, please contact Tacit Support and, if needed, the support teams for each applicable platform.
Set Up Delivery Networks
First ensure the location is set up in the Brands & Locations section.
Go to the Operations section.
Select a Brand and a Location from the dropdown menus.
Go to the Delivery Networks tab, then click Edit Settings.
In the Edit Delivery Networks window that opens;
Select a language for the location.
Toggle Tax Override ON if you need to set up a tax override for delivery networks at this location.
Otherwise, Taxes will apply as they are set up for the location in the Brands & Locations tab.
For the most part, this is automatically established by taxes applicable in the state/province/region your location is in based on the address provided for the location.
You can use this feature to set up applicable Carbonated Beverage, Alcohol, and/or Spirits Tax Rates for each desired delivery network
Select your delivery networks using the checkboxes
For Uber Eats, enter the UberEats ID (usually an alphanumeric string).
Auto-accept is turned on by the Uber team when the location is integrated with Tacit.
For DoorDash, the Tacit store ID will automatically appear.
If desired, turn on Auto-accept manually using the toggle.
For Skip the Dishes, the External ID will automatically appear.
If desired, turn on Auto-accept manually using the toggle.
Click SAVE CHANGES
Once you have set up the delivery network(s), you can move forward with arranging the staging and launch with your project manager.
Please note: Additional coordination between each client, Tacit and Delivery network is still required to bring the locations live. This feature only allows users to complete the back-office setup.
Publishing delivery network menus
Go to the Operations section of backoffice.
Select a Brand
Click on the Delivery Networks tab.
Publish Menus
To publish all delivery network menus, click the PUBLISH ALL MENUS button.
If you would only like to publish the delivery networks menu at a specific location, select that location from the dropdown menu and then click PUBLISH MENU in the row of the delivery network(s) of your choice.
Publishing a delivery network location
Ensure the location is set up properly in Brands & Locations.
Ensure the delivery network integration has been set up (contact Tacit support or your PM for assistance with this).
Go to the Operations tab.
Select your brand and location from the dropdown menu.
Locate the respective delivery network(s).
Click on the … button.
Click Publish Location and wait for the status to update fully.
- Check delivery network app to confirm the changes.
- If you receive an error when trying to publish the menu or location, please contact support for further assistance.
Drafting a delivery network location
Go to the Operations section of backoffice.
Select brand and location from the dropdown menu.
Locate the respective delivery network(s)
Click on the … button
Click Draft Location
Please note: For Skip The Dishes, drafting the location will not stop customer from placing orders. It will simply fail to inject orders into the POS. If you would like to stop customer from placing orders, use the Skip tablet to Go Offline.
Wait for the status to update fully.
Check delivery network app to confirm changes
