Overview:
Users can set up coupon codes in our back office. Coupon codes are essentially promotion codes that can be set up to be used 1 time only or once per customer. This article provides instructions for setting up coupon codes in the backoffice and for downloading and viewing generated coupon codes as an excel file.
- Codes can be uploaded using a .csv file, or they can be randomly generated in the back office.
- Coupon codes do not have a character limit.
- Operators can define the number of codes they would like to generate.
- Coupon codes can be configured as a discount off an entire order or as a discount on menu items.
- Discounts can be set up as a dollar amount or a percentage off.
- Operators can set up an effective date and (optionally) an expiry date for each range of coupon codes.
- Operators can also set up days of the week and hours that coupon codes are valid for.
- Operators can set up usage rules for coupon codes. For example, you can require a minimum purchase amount for a code to be valid or specify the order types to which the codes apply.
